Is this really fair?

Hey all! I know it's been a while, nothing much new, but I have to send out a little vent on WIU's advisors and school system! If you are going there or planning too, you need to really keep close watch on them! If you are going to a community college and planning on transferring keep in contact with them and your school on your classes, no matter how pissy they get!

As you know Drew goes there, he also got his AA from SCC and discussed with them what transfers. Well, he gets to WIU and first his Chemistry they won't take, has to take that over, ok, he can deal with that, then last spring they told him he had to take A&P over...WHAT! A full year of something he already did that the community college said transfers, and so did WIU at that point!?!!? He questioned it like he did his Chem, and even talked to the advisor...nope still having to take it....well.....

As labs go on for his A&P the instructor questions why he is in there, he knows it all, the skinning of the cats and other projects he is doing it to perfection she says....so he tells her. She was shocked and gave him a name of a person to contact, she didn't think he should be there...of course that was great news but it's been nothing but a f*cking run around, it's been over two weeks and he finally got an answer...he DOES NOT need this class. okay..well

The class tuition and the fees add up to $1500! Yep that much for a 4 credit class plus the college's fees! WOW! You think he will get it back, probably not...it's past the deadline....

I'm trying to get him to write the president and putting it all out there. It's THEIR fault, he should at least get 50% back right! ABSOLUTELY! If not the full refund. It's absolute bullshit if you ask me! How crappy! Plus the run around he has been doing nothing but dealing with them. Seriously my approximate guess would be he was switched to at least seven different people....ugh!

So I'm trying to get him to do something even a letter to get things off his chest. I think he'd feel better...but still $1500 God that makes me sick!
